Users can create and customise their own caps, but our AI also allows users to get suggestions based on their revenue flow.

My role

As the Lead UI Designer on this project, I transformed user experience research into visual solutions. I oversaw the process from initial research to final delivery, ensuring each feature met our users' needs. This involved conducting user testing, A/B testing, card sorting for information architecture, and gathering feedback using Useberry as well as guaranteeing an easy, time-saving hand off method.

Card sorting for categorisation

Embracing a user-centric approach, I facilitated collaborative sessions where participants sorted predefined spending categories into groups that resonated with their financial habits and preferences. Through this iterative process, we gained invaluable insights into users' perceptions and priorities regarding their expenditure, allowing us to create intuitive and tailored categories reflective of their real-life spending patterns.

During our card sorting workshops, we presented users with a mix of spending categories identified in prior research. Participants could freely rearrange these categories into groups based on shared meanings. Each group could be labelled as desired, and users could even suggest new categories not initially provided. This collaborative effort culminated in the development of intuitive spending categories within our app, resonating with the typical user's financial habits and priorities.

Connecting digital accounts to the app by searching the banking service and allowing for data sharing

Centralising financial data

One of the ways in which we delivered value to our users was by offering a comprehensive balance of their finances from multiple accounts, all conveniently accessible from a single platform. By seamlessly integrating data from disparate sources, our app empowers users with a holistic view of their financial health, enhancing transparency and efficiency in their day-to-day banking activities.

Users can view their complete digital banking balance and transactions as well as a breakdown of their financial assets
